There are two main types of concrete batching plants:

  • Dry Mix Plants – where all ingredients are weighed and transferred to the truck mixer without water.
  • Wet Mix Plants – where materials are mixed with water in a central mixer before loading.

Additional variations include mobile batching plants, compact plants, and stationary batching plants, depending on the project scale and mobility requirements.
